Behind a Permanent Makeup Procedure - What the Client Doesn't Know

I've been working on this blog post for the past few days and I've really wanted to share some main differences between the products used in the permanent makeup world. Most clients will only get to see a website, some pictures and finally look for a reasonable price. What they don't know though is that their result today, tomorrow and in 5 years from now depends heavily on the products that the technician chooses to use.

Down below you'll see a list of good versus poor choices. I'm only going to mention examples of brands that provide good quality supplies as I don't want to offend or upset anyone who's in the field.

I hope this helped at least some of you. Every time you go to get a beauty service, ask questions! You have the right to know what is used on your skin. It baffles me whenever I see Groupons for $99 for permanent makeup, when I know that technician will probably end up with $50/procedure.

My setup costs, not including rent, are more than $50 so I'd be very skeptic to pay such a small amount for a service like this. Sure, I can afford some chipped nail polish or a bad meal.. but a bad tattoo on my face that was meant to look like my makeup?!  No thanks!

Take care and have a good week
